Revised COVID-19 Vaccination Policy (March 2023):

As the CDC and Commonwealth of Massachusetts COVID-19 health and safety protocols have adjusted, the following Northeast Maritime Institute policy has been updated:

Effective 13 March 2023, Northeast Maritime Institute no longer requires COVID-19 vaccinations.

*Important Note: Although NMI has removed the COVID-19 vaccination mandate, various professional maritime organizations may still have a mandate in place; this could impact College of Maritime Science summer internship opportunities as well as future employment. Please know we join CDC health care officials and strongly encourage COVID-19 vaccinations, including remaining up to date with booster shots as recommended by the CDC.
